As a member of the Helsinki-based Darkroom Collective, I am proud to present "Deep Thoughts" as part of our project, "What Happened to Humanity?" This project seeks to examine human vulnerability in times of crisis.

"It's a thin line between sanity and madness."

This photograph was taken during an architectural excursion in Guadalajara Center. Suddenly, this human being submerged his head in the water and continued walking. It prompted me to wonder: What were their thoughts at that moment? Was he seeking refuge from the heat, or perhaps, a brief escape from reality?

What Happened to Humanity?" is a collaborative photography exhibition exploring human fragility and the path to rebirth through awareness and emotional presence. By capturing raw vulnerability, resilience, and transformation, the exhibit fosters dialogue about our shared humanity during times of war and polarization.
